Liner Notes
Peace Begins with Me was actually first released shortly after 9-11. Laurie wrote this song 3 days BEFORE 9-11. She released the CD throughout Europe and it charted on radio to #31 in the United Kingdom. This CD also raised money for 3 charities.
Originally the CD was released under the name SUMMER LEE due to confusion with the bluegrass singer Laurie Lewis. Later Laurie went back to her own name but kept my middle name, Lee, hoping for less confusion! Plus her husband, Wes kept calling her Laurie on stage and confused the heck out of the audience!
