Children's welfare: Laurie wrote a song called FOR ALL THE CHILDREN. From the day she wrote this song she new that she wanted to help children all over the world. But how? After hours and hours of studying non-profit charities, she found SAVE THE CHILDREN fit best, serving children all over the world, with food, water, clothing, medical and schooling. www.savethechildren.org
Veterans: While Laurie was producing ONE TO ONE, she wrote a song that had been floating around in her head for 6 years after losing a friend to leukemia. The song was FORGET ME NOT that pays a memorial honor to all loved ones we have lost with a focus on honoring veterans who lost their lives fighting for our freedom. Laurie again set out to find a charity that helped veterans and their families with financial assistance as well as phycological/medical help. Fisher House does just that. www.fisherhouse.org

Animal welfare:Laurie wrote a song called THINK ABOUT ME that speaks on behalf of the welfare of animals. A seperate entity from the store chain serves nationwide in finding homes from domestic animals, rescues and supports other small non-profit animal shelters in the U.S. . www.petsmartcharities.org
Cancer research: Laurie wrote HOPE following her own scare with an irregular mammogram. She knew this song gave voice to the need for the cure. Laurie recently donated to www.thevfoundation.org for cancer research.
